Rowville is our neighbour in the City of Knox, just down the road from our Wantirna South base. It’s a suburb built around families, and many of the people we help here are at a turning point: buying their first home, making room for a growing household or finally getting on top of a loan they’ve had for years.
A family suburb with room to move
Much of Rowville was developed as planned residential estates, so you’ll find streets of family homes with backyards, parks and reserves never far away. Stud Park Shopping Centre is the local hub, and the bushland of Lysterfield Park and Churchill National Park sits on the suburb’s doorstep.
Rowville doesn’t have a train line, which is a regular topic of local conversation. Most residents drive, using Wellington Road, Stud Road, EastLink and the Monash Freeway to get to work, with buses linking to nearby train stations.
How Jenny helps Rowville households
The most common situations we see in Rowville include:
- Upgrading within the suburb. Plenty of families start in a smaller home and later want an extra bedroom, a second living area or a bigger yard without changing schools. We help you plan the sale and purchase so the finance lines up.
- Renovating instead of moving. If you’d rather extend or update, we can look at whether refinancing or a construction loan is the better fit.
- First home buyers who grew up in the area and want to stay close to family.
- Refinancing a loan that hasn’t been reviewed in a while, to check whether your rate, features and structure still suit you.
- Consolidating debts such as car loans or credit cards into a home loan, where it makes sense and you understand the long-term cost.
Tradies and local business owners
Rowville and neighbouring Scoresby have a strong mix of trades, contractors and light industrial businesses. Jenny regularly helps self-employed clients with asset finance for utes, vans, trailers and equipment, and with commercial property loans for a workshop or warehouse. Being self-employed can make a home loan application more involved, and we know which lenders are more comfortable with business income and how to present your financials clearly.
A note from Jenny A lot of Rowville clients are juggling young kids, work and sometimes a business as well. I try to make the process as light as possible for you: I’ll tell you exactly which documents I need, chase the lender on your behalf and keep you posted so you’re never left wondering.
